JAN

Yea! We are finally back to school and excited to see each other again.  We will get back on track with our letters and work extra on our numbers.  Jan is the beginning of our unit work on the Solar System.  We will start with Mercury and go through them all in order.
This week we will be working on the letter v.

Christmas Parties

This month the children have been working hard on their Christmas surprises.  We will be having our Christmas parties on our last school day.  There will be no lunch bunch and we will be singing at 11:30.  I have enjoyed listening to the thing the kids want for Christmas and it amazes me how fast the trends change and how many things that I don't even recognize.  I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas. 

DECEMBER

Wow where did 2011 go?  This month our time will be spent getting ready for Christmas with gift, cards and singing.  We will have a party on our last day with treats and singing at 11:30.

FEAST

We had a great feast today.  The kids all remembered to bring their assignments and we ate until we couldn't eat anymore.  We were introduced to the W sound.  Please remember that it doesn't say wu it is just w.... holding the sound helps.  I hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving with family and friends.

cold weather

Make sure the kids wear jackets.  We go outside unless it is pouring or snowing.

Thanksgiving Fun

This is my first post and I am not sure if I am doing this right.  Here we go.  We will be having out parties on November 21 and 22  We will be having a feast and singing to our families.  There will be no lunch bunch for these days, as we will be eating lunch during class.  We will be singing at 11:30 sharp and would love to have as many as can come.  The kids have signed up for what they want to bring, so be watching for the note.

For the Wed group.  I will not be here on the 23, and there will be a sub for the day, Miss Erica will be here.  This is Jovi's mom.  There will be no lunch bunch for that day either.
